Frances L. Tayoun a resident of the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, formerly of West Scranton died Thursday June 28, 2018 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Fred P. Tayoun who died in 1979.
Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Laura De Pietro Rabiega. A graduate of West Scranton High School, prior to retirement she was employed as a clerk for the PA State Employment Office. She was a member of St. Ann’s Basilica.
Frances’ family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kenneth Sebastianelli, the nurses, aides, and staff at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, and to Compassionate Care Hospice for all of their kind and loving care.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters Betty Latrella, Ann De Luca; brother Joseph De Luca.
The funeral will be Monday from the Guido-Fiorillo Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann’s Basilica 1233 St. Ann St. Scranton. Interment Cathedral Cemetery. Everyone attending the Mass is asked to proceed directly to church.
There will be no public calling hours.
